Recess Friends Chinese New Year gathering at Novena.
We gave in to peer pressure and tried Chin Huat Live Seafood.
It was really mediocre steamboat food.
The best dish has got to be the very frozen chocolate eclair which made jos gahgah.
We had much fun as usual, but its incomplete without py's thunder voice. =DDDRandom photos taken on the bus.
Er. We really had fun. hehe.Velvet.

TURKEY DAY 3 (PART 2)
Underground City Of Kaymakli
This is a really impressive discovery of the history of mankind! Practical considerations including protection, survival and revelry were given to many facets of living undergound. In the face of an attack, keystones were quickly moved into place, which blocked access from the outside and sealed off the various levels. Small holes were carved into the floor and used to communicate with the level above or below. The engineering of air shafts that extend beyond the lowest level and exit just below gound level provide an efficient and impressive level of air circulation.

Pigeon houses built by man.

Towards the end of the journey.
Hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey, was indeed an unforgettable experience. Waking up at 5am and travelling towards the mountain region in a mini bus was worth it. Located in the center area of Turkey, it was also one of the coldest region. Being high up in the sky in early morning means temperature could easily be lower than 0 degrees Celsius, but the flame burst that fill the balloon provide much needed warmth, only for my face because poor toes were freezing. On top of the unique structure of the spectacular formation that earned its name of fairy chimney, the whole scenery was further beautified under nature's work. Under the sunlight, the fairy chimneys and other formation glowed and looked more golden than any ordinary sedimentary rocks. It was really one of the best encounter with Mother Earth.
