had German food last night at Vivocity. a cuisine fabian ng and i seldom eat. we ordered weissbier (german beer). it was my first time tasting beer so i cant really compare that with the normal beer. HAHA. it smelt like apple juice when the beer was a few centimeter away from my lips, but far from apple juice when its in my mouth. haha. the wurstplatte (sausage platter) was fairly normal. a few of the sausages tasted the same. i couldnt tell the difference, and i dont know if i'm lucky or what, but i couldnt differentiate which one was the sausage made of liver. HAHA! the pork knuckle was fabulous! i'd say it was the best dish of the night! the skin was crispy and the fats melted in my mouth! the meat was soft too. we ate half of it plain, before realising that the sauce made the dish even better. stabs. hahaha. overall, it was a great experience just that we had to wait very long before we were offered our seats, or rather, the staff just ignored the people waiting outside.
